Someone to stand in line for you in Greece

Greece has some of the longest administrative queues in Europe. Oura connects you with a local who can be there instead of you.

Book a queue holder now

Whether it's a KEP appointment you couldn't get, an immigration office that opens at 8am, or a pharmacy queue you don't have time for — a local queuer holds the spot and notifies you when it's almost your turn.

Where it works best

Government offices (KEP, tax authority, immigration), hospitals and clinics, embassies and consulates, ferry and event ticket offices, and any venue with predictable queue times.

How it works

Post your task on Oura, describe the location and the estimated queue time. A vetted local accepts, arrives on time, and sends you real-time updates. You show up when it's nearly your turn.

Who uses this service

Busy Athens and Thessaloniki professionals, expats who struggle with Greek bureaucracy, tourists visiting peak-season islands, students, and anyone who values their morning more than a queue.

Greece-specific queues Oura covers

KEP (Citizens' Service Centres), ΕΛΤΑ post offices, ΔΙΕΠΥ immigration, Eforia tax offices, hospital outpatient departments, IKA/ΕΦΚΑ social insurance, municipal services, embassy visa queues.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this legal in Greece?

Yes. Holding a place in a public queue for someone else is entirely lawful. The person being represented still needs to be present when their turn comes (for appointments that require physical presence). The queuer simply saves the wait time.

What if the office requires my ID?

The queuer holds the place. You still attend for the actual appointment — you just skip the 2-hour wait. For fully representable tasks (e.g. dropping off documents), the queuer can handle the full visit.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is set per booking on the Oura platform, based on expected duration and task complexity. Most simple queue holds are affordable and take less than a morning's wages to offset.

Can it work in cities other than Athens?

Yes. Oura currently covers Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Patras, and is expanding rapidly. Post your task and see local availability.
